Full Moon in Capricorn/Cancer conjunct Pluto in Aquarius: DOES IT FEEL TO YOU AS IF WE ARE ON THE CUSP OF A “BRAVE NEW WORLD”?

Let’s take that familiar phrase in both senses: one, made famous by Aldous Huxley’s dystopian novel, depicting the technocratic nightmare that is fast descending upon us, and the other: the actual meaning of the phrase, where each word is taken separately. Brave. New. World.

Brave: depicts courage or courageous endurance. (Think heart, coeur: courage. Let us think and move with our hearts in charge. Each of us a Leo, moving cooperatively into group-oriented Aquarius. Leo and Aquarius are opposites. Let us hold the tension of the opposites.)

New: never before experienced. Thus both exciting and scary.

World: Earth and all her creatures, including humans — stretching into the infinite cosmos. Nothing and no one left out.

Today’s Full Moon, at 29°08 Capricorn/Cancer, conjunct and opposed almost exactly to Pluto, at 0°53 of the following sign of Aquarius, the three planets all of which rose or set with the Sun at the location of Washington DC: does not this depict the coming of the Brave New World, by shedding all vestiges of the old? Of the worn-out Capricorn structures — hierarchical, organizational, structural, that are simply no longer working as before? That ever since March 24, 2023, when Pluto flipped out of Capricorn into Aquarius for the first time in 248 years, and has been moving back and forth — up to 2° Aquarius, back to 28° Capricorn — ever since; Pluto, now moving backwards through early Aquarius once again and due to re-enter 29° Capricorn for the final time on Sept 2, 2024, for its final, extremely short sojourn in that conservative, traditional, hierarchical sign, turning to go direct on October 11, and then to re-enter Aquarius for the final time in this two-year interregnum on November 21, 2024.

After the 2024 presidential election, IF it is held.

This is the second Full Moon in Capricorn/Cancer in 2024. The first was June 21 at 1°07. Just think of what has gone down during this past month! The “news,” day after day, left us reeling, unable to process, in shock.

Nevertheless, here we are again. A second opportunity to balance the vulnerability of Cancerian home, family, feelings and the imposition of Capricorn order, rules, regulations. Some order necessary, but how much? When does order slip into total control? Likewise, feelings. Simply there, though often buried, and yet threaten to overwhelm at any moment.

This Full Moon brings to full illumination all that we have had to endure during this past month, and especially since the Cancer New Moon, on July 5, and features Pluto’s coming sojourn through humanitarian (and yet technocratic) Aquarius, focusing on how to achieve total individuation of equal members inside a decentralized, horizontally  networked society — until March of 2043, when Pluto begins its gradual process of moving from Aquarius into Pisces. That’s 20 years for Pluto Aquarius, folks! It’s not going to come easy. We are so familiar with obeying/resenting/disobeying top-down Capricorn orders. We don’t really know how to actually cooperate with others, much less treat them as equals. ALL GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME.

Some good news with this Full Moon: Mars, Neptune and Uranus are all harmoniously arranged with the Full Moon opposition conjunct Pluto on the Ascendant/Descendant axis at Washington, D.C.

Mars, having newly entered Gemini, spews continuous info (and disinfo) flow, helping to accustom us to the enormous Plutonian transformation afoot. Mars is buttressed by an exact square between Mercury in Leo to Uranus in Taurus:  the info coming to us will be both strong, proud, and courageous, as it eviscerates, thanks to Uranus, what we have taken for granted in terms of value systems, and that includes fiat money.

Uranus and Neptune, both outer planets, both residing deep in the unconscious of humanity, both featured as background harmonization of the zeitgeist — Uranian sudden changes in values, bodily, earth-based integrity; Neptune melting down walls, holding us all in flowing, loving vibration — yes, both planets help us undergo, with compassion, what is bound to be huge, earth-shifting, and downward pulling of all that has been erected as if it’s “elite,” untouchable.

I will end this by presenting, without comment, three Sabian symbols: for 30° Cancer, 30° Capricorn, and 1° Aquarius.

30° Cancer, the position of the Sun: A DAUGHTER OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

KEYNOTE: The prestige and conservatism of a long-maintained heritage.

30° Capricorn, the position of the Moon: A SECRET MEETING OF MEN RESPONSIBLE FOR EXECUTIVE DECISIONS IN WORLD AFFAIRS.

KEYNOTE: The power to assume responsibility for crucial choices arrived at after mature discussions with those who share this power.

1° Aquarius, the position of Pluto: AN OLD ADOBE MISSION IN CALIFORNIA

KEYNOTE: The power inherent in all great human works to endure far beyond the workers’ life spans.
