Hi Ann,
I’ve been reading your posts for probably around 14 years. I love your writings! Thank you! It seems we both have gone down the same path.. Braces (small mouth.. too many teeth)… years of orthodontic work, only to find at 62yo bone loss required ALL my teeth out NOW to save enough bone for implants (so my daughter tells me). My daughter has worked in a prestigious aesthetic dental practice for the past 14 years, and knew I had periodontal disease. I also did lots of oil pulling with sesame oil , and know it does make a difference. As my Jupiter in Libra would have it (H9 sextile Saturn H11), her boss “gifted” me full implants, which was completed last August (and for which I am extremely grateful). I’m aware of the loss of my teeth every day as it’s “just not the same” as natural teeth (though they look amazingly real). The big black metal braces for more than 4 years, and the pain of those fortnightly visits to “tighten” the braces…. OMG! Having all the teeth out was a “moment” of “letting go”.
Turns out the cosmetic dentist (boss) is a Libran 🙂 My chart ruler is Saturn (in trine to Pluto and Mercury). Astrologically I can’t seem to get the connection with the bone loss.. but it is what it is… we age.. the body breaks down. No one gets out of here alive.
