WOW. I was totally wrong about one assumption: that Zelensky would be obstinate, buttressed by his European cronies. . . 

Instead they all, all of them, participated in what appears to be the prevailing mood of optimism, ignited by the Trump/Putin summit. 

Now I hear that Trump has been working with Putin ever since he was elected this second term, to get them both to the point where, when they met, they could negotiate successfully, and start the ball towards Peace on Earth rolling.

And I imagine that Trump, or his trusted compatriots (Rubio, Bessent, Vance, Hegseth, Meloni, Scavino, and others), have been working all these months to orchestrate, detail by detail, what has just occurred. Here is how yesterday played out, “inch by inch”: Many carefully arranged stages, movements from one to another, etc. Fascinating!

Imagine: all European leaders drop everything on a dime, fly to D.C. to meet with Trump and Zelensky. An apparently overnight decision. 

Imagine: Zelensky signaling capitulation? new-found respect? recognition of necessity? — by wearing a (sorta) suit! So different than last time they met, which ended in conflict. This time, same room, same arrangement of people: completely different atmosphere, signaled ahead of time by the way Trump greeted Zelensky when he left the limosine, like a benevolent grandfather, caring for one of his favorite contrarian kids. But: likely the entire experience took a lot out of puppet Zelensky, whose master seems to have suddenly changed hands.

Yep, looks like they all capitulated, and/or are infected by the prevailing astrological weather.

BTW: Meloni, whose expressive Italian eyes clearly signal her views on her fellow European “leaders,” is the best, and the only one Trump supports. The others he says, “look like accountants.”

How did 9/11 divide current population into before and after? How do we understand the collective psyche of those born after 9/11, the oldest of whom is now 21 years old?
