Always ask, and do you (I) dare: “BY WHAT AUTHORITY?”

Notice:

Mea culpa,  but it’s spring, liver time, and this is one pissed off liverish post! Must go dig up some dandelion roots, chop them, boil them, and drink the juice before I blow a gasket. . .

BTW: I just now noticed that the transiting Moon (coming once again to 26° Uranus) is exactly conjunct my 23° Taurus Moon, during this very hour. Which means I’d better be especially careful from now on through this evening, or I really could “blow a gasket.”

Martin Geddes reminds me of Clif High. Not just that both invent new words; nor that both utilize AI to buttress their cases for or against whatever they consider unfair or unjust or just plain wrong — or even downright evil; but that they are both, as sovereign souls, assuming prima facie, their own agency, their own authority. In fact, Geddes asks that very question directly in this post, from his substack, Future of Communications.

His main question, the one which collapsed his utterly weird supposedly legal problem: “By what authority?”

The Age of the Logistian

A new era in law, truth, and resistance — born through man-machine symbiosis

Closer to home, just a few days ago, it’s not just symbiosis with AI that counts. It’s having the courage i.e., the heart, to not just sense big daddy overreach of any kind, but to actually do something about it. This is one great story, with fabulous arguments that pressed city officials here to the point where they dismissed the charge:

Dan Combs, 72, of Bloomington, Indiana, could not find a parking spot downtown with a parking meter that used cash. So, when got a ticket, for parking in the”wrong” handicapped spot (he is handicapped), he fought it, and won. However, the city says, “it’s unlikely to set a broad precedent.” Oh?

Dan: “Whoever heard of a place where you can’t give money to park?’

I’ve been faced with the same problem numerous times, when I don’t have my phone on me, and don’t want to put the parking app on it anyhow. Really pisses this Sagittarian off; do far I’ve managed to ferret out a few out-of-the-way places to park free . So glad Sagittarian Dan Combs, stepped up to the plate. And, by the way, this is not his first rodeo.

David Icke, over in the UK, also gets pissed off.

They have no soul and no shame. The traffic wardens sit in their cars until 8:30 AM and then the pounce . . .
