UPDATE: Mike Adams twitter post . . . HUH?

June 12, 2025

It looks like he’s lifted his own gloom. (See first post, today.) and yet, wait a minute: two of his three posts I pointed to today were written on June 10 and June 11. I thought disaster was inevitable! What’s going on? Saturn/Neptune confusion. . . Maybe he has two world-views in his head, and he can’t seem to not somehow keep switching from one to the other? If so, is he alone in this malady? I doubt it. In fact, I tend to share it.

DIS-ASTER: to turn away from the stars . . . from astrology; how patterns in the heavens reflect conditions and processes on Earth . . .

ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW: Time to move from Denial and Despair to Devotion and Delight!

While I appreciate Mike Adams, I also consider him somewhat of a doomer. Which to this double Sagittarian, is a downer. However, as we slog through the finale to the latest Saturn/Neptune conjunction, which however, happens to be nearly exact at  1°-2° Aries — it’s becoming clear that fiery ignition is also at hand. As if Saturn is determined to light a fire with a wet Neptunian match? Something like that. But: that’s almost over . . .

Circling back to Mike Adams, his Health Ranger home page, here’s a screen shot of his three most recent doomer offerings:

Notice that his first post was on June 9th. On June 10th, Maureen Richmond, in her substack, “The Astrology of World Events” (with a doctorate in history, she is especially interested in long-term planetary cycles) targeted the period between June 9th and June 17th as unusually volatile, first correlating with the Full Moon, and then now: correlating with Mars square Uranus. She advocates that people stay away from public events during this period.

(Will I stay away from our local NoKing event on Saturday? It depends on whether or not I can find someone to go with me. Not wise to go alone. I have several invites out to those who share my contrarian nature. Otherwise, I’ll at least drive by.)

June 9-17: Alert

However, this next offering, again from astrologer/perspectivist par excellence Maureen Richmond, offers us plenty of Jupiterian optimism.

Four Reasons Not to Despair

Please read it in detail. So much going on, and not the least of it having to do with so many of the long-cycled planets being in their opening phases with other long-cycled planets. i.e., immense opportunities ahead, as we manage to sluff off the sloggy Saturn/Neptune  malaise. Plus, lots of harmonious (sextile, trine) aspects between long-running planets; and plus again, expansive, generous, lucky Jupiter aspects to both the U.S. Chart and Trump’s chart!

And, remember, on June 9, Jupiter moved into the sign of its exaltation: Cancer, where it will remain for one full year. Focus on family. Home. Home and family. The homeland. Protectiveness.  Nourishment. Necessary conditions for human flourishing.

Here’s her summary:

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
“The longer we live, the larger, the richer the background against which all future experiences take place, and the more complex and subtle our understanding of our own past.” — AK, 1986, A Soul’s Journey
“To me, the most interesting question about human memory is why only certain events, rather than others, carry a charge. Where does the charge come from?” — AK, 1986, A Soul’s Journey
“At a party, many decades ago, a man whom I had just met burst out, in a tone of wonder: ‘You are the first continuously splitting schizophrenic I’ve ever met!’ I bowed low and responded, ‘Thank you!’”
