Alt-Epistemology: ABOVE AND BELOW — not one or the other; BOTH! At once!

Courageous cartoonist Ben Garrison, who, bless his heart, has been fighting cancer, packs a wallop with this new “cartoon.”

It appears that hurricanes Helene and Milton have ignited a national and global conversation that we should have been having all along. Yes. There is such a thing as “weather wars.” Yes. Chem trails are real. On and on.

We take off our tight, constraining conceptual helmets and shake out our hair. For when we begin to envision at scale, “the sky’s the limit.”

And there is no limit to the sky!

Yes. There is no end to it. Keep going. Release Fear and invite Love.

The big secret?

Get and remain centered, grounded,

while continuously widening and deepening

heart-centered vision.

But why control the land?

Because of what’s buried within it, eg. lithium near Asheville. Or what they want to replace ruined citizen-owned properties with, e.g., at at least in some cases, like Maui, to build “smart cities,” where fractious humans can be controlled and confined like robots.

Who knows what’s next, in terms of after effects of just these two likely-steered weather events. Well for one thing, the poisoning of water and earth by human-constructed waste products of industrialization which, until now, most of us took for granted, and let’s face it, most of us still do! Whose refrigerator is NOT full of plastic?

Here’s a depressing, very informative substack post, should you be inclined to investigate details.

Corporate Capture and the Toxic Bombs set off by Milton and Helene.

With this post, I observe a screen fast again, until Monday morning.

Who Is Ludwig Klages?

In my local credit union this morning, after a complicated transaction involving all sorts of small amounts, I suddenly asked the clerk, plaintively,

“Do you think they have money in heaven?”

Of course, the question took her by surprise. But the tone between us shifted instantly, as she responded. “I don’t think so, because in heaven you can have anything you want.”

I’ve always known this: beyond money, beneath money, in heaven or here on earth, dwells The Real.

Money, a scrim upon Mother Earth.

A scum.

A foolish attempt to identify, quantify, assign fake hierarchical value to,

arbitray maps of what is,

essentially,

MYSTERY.

Our exchange in the bank reminds me of yesterday’s Paul Cudenec essay, where he hails the philosophy of Ludwig Klages (1872-1956), someone I’d identify as a real philosopher, i.e., one who was both absorbed in, and attempting to give linguistic form to, The Real.

I, supposedly a philosopher, had never heard of Ludwig Klages!

Life Philosophy: Soul Rhythm, Magic and Love

How’s this for a Klages question Cudenec identifies that just keeps on resonating . . .

How’s this for a Cudenec movement that we might all get behind?

Two more Klages quotes from Cudenec:

YES. Once again, I am reminded me of the morning a few years ago, when I stood in front of our pond and was, all of a sudden, pulsed from below with an enormous force that almost collapsed my body to the ground.

Mother Earth, speaking.

Here’s a video I just found and plan to absorb.

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967

“To me, the most interesting question about human memory is why only certain events, rather than others, carry a charge. Where does the charge come from?” — AK, 1986, A Soul’s Journey
“At a party, many decades ago, a man whom I had just met burst out, in a tone of wonder: ‘You are the first continuously splitting schizophrenic I’ve ever met!’ I bowed low and responded, ‘Thank you!’”
