For me, numinous dreams, Big Dreams, have been, in the past decade or so, very rare. So, when I woke up at 6 AM this Spring Equinox morning, having dreamt of an ORANGE ELEPHANT, I was both puzzled and entranced. So much so, I got up to write it down.
ELEPHANT DREAM
3/19/24
At about 6 am I woke up with this numinous dream:
I am with others, a family group, partner/husband (Jeff?) and others. Some children? We are in the west, a familiar place, the mountains above Ketchum, Idaho, the Sawtooths. We are camping? There is a young? not very large elephant nearby, orangish in in color. The elephant is on the rampage, furious, stampeding right at individuals, but veering away before hitting or crushing them.
Ye gods, now what? I feel responsible for the group.
The elephant rushes at me, and yes, at first, I’m fearful, but then again I notice he veers away, doesn’t hit or hurt me. I realize: the elephant is seeking to connect, and furious that he has not been able to.
Instantly, I move into psychic communication with the elephant. Strong emotional bonding. I realize the elephant needs us/me as his companions, and to somehow interpret him to the world?
From now on, the elephant will go/be with me/us.
Interpretation
Immediately, on waking, what does this elephant symbolize? The elephant himself, the fact of his rampaging without hitting, the eventual psychic connection that calms him down. He’s my companion from now on. Always with me. Symbol of the Self, of my Long Memories, of integrating my enormous wholeness as I move into and through the final phase of my life.
This elephant was orange. The color of the second chakra — creativity, pregnancy!
Checking the internet, elephant symbolism:
Ganesha, elephant-headed Hindu god of beginnings, who is traditionally worshipped before any major enterprise and is the patron of intellectuals, bankers, scribes, and authors.
In Hinduism, elephants are linked to Ganesha, the lord of obstacles. The elephants in this culture symbolize wisdom and the overcoming of challenges.
In Buddhism, elephants signify strength, power, and wisdom.
Checking another detail of the dream: the Sawtooth mountains in Idaho — where I came alive as a teenager!
Oh wow! Notice what’s above the head of my bed!

I always saw husband Jeff as symbolized on land, by elephant (and in water by dolphin). And I know he’s still watching over me, 21 years after his death.
But where is the tiny marble elephant? I know I have one, and have never paid much attention to it.
Ah, there it is (one leg partly gone).

Geez! Just peered inside the tiny elephant. It’s pregnant with new life on this spring equinox day of new beginnings!
So I own both a male Ganesh and a female Ganesh! Integration. Wholeness.
I think the tiny elephant is from Jeff. I decide to take it from the mass of god and goddess statues and put it on my altar, newly being constructed. Shall I place it in the center of the four directions set with crystals, now being cleaned in sun and salted water?
I set up an astro chart for 6 AM, today, Bloomington, Indiana, knowing that for an event chart to be meaningful, it will have to have some very special degree on at least one of the angles (Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, Immum Coeli), since they move so quickly (one degree every four minutes). This one does: 2° Sagittarius exactly on the Midheaven, conjunct my natal and very fiery Sagittarian Mars in the hidden 12th house (which normally rules mystic Pisces) of the deep unconscious which in turn is directly. and exactly opposite my Uranus in Gemini in the 6th house (which normally rules analytic Virgo) of daily practices, and, in my case recently, sudden (Uranian) changes in them due to broken wrist.
Aha, and this chart holds another very powerful aspect, given the timing of the day:
29°17 Sun conjunct 27°25 Neptune.
(Remember, today is Spring Equinox, which however, won’t occur until 11:06 PM tonight, when the Sun moves from 29°59 Pisces to 0° Aries, ruled by Mars, new beginnings, as Ganesh rules new beginnings.)
Transit Neptune itself, at 27°25 Pisces, exactly squares my natal 27°00 Sagittarian Ascendant for this entire month of March (extremely slow moving Neptune was also there last year, late May through most of August, when son Colin began his ongoing journey of discovery).
Dreamy, psychic, spiritual Neptune, conjunct my MC when I was born, i.e., “the star I was born under,” sent me a big dream from beyond early this Equinox morning. And did so just as I am beginning to emerge from the broken wrist, which occurred February 17, just over one month ago.
Thank you Neptune.
Thank you Ganesh.
Thank you, Jeff!

I cannot stress enough how crucial I think this woman’s work is. As she puts it, on her blog, the 11th hour:

Here a few excerpts from a current interview that she reposted on her substack, in case you want to get your mind blown to smithereens. I was the one to place some of the phrases and sentences in bold.
“The cultural shifts we see today regarding gender identity are largely influenced by huge capital inflows from governments, philanthropists, corporations, and investment management and accounting firms like Blackrock and Ernst & Young. While some believe that the ideology originated in universities, funding is directed to these institutions to promote the idea of synthetic sex identities as progressive, which students then carry into the world.”
“To comprehend the motivations of governments, philanthropists, and big business in this ideology, we must examine its implications. Gender ideology deconstructs human reproductive sex legally, linguistically, socially, and is also attacking mostly young people’s reproductive organs by sterilizing them. It is marketing disassociation from sexed reality presented as progressive, which is especially confusing to young people in using their naturally rebellious youthfulness as a corporate trap.”
“Both the money and the ideology come out of the medical-tech sector, which is itself being integrated into culture through a philanthropic structure that has been attached to the LGBT civil rights political apparatus.”
“The tech and medical industries thrive, like all industries, in creating and compartmentalizing new products, a trend seen in the LGBT civil rights movement, which was originally a grassroots movement that became corporatized during the AIDS crisis in the ’80s. American transsexualism, rooted in the medical establishment, dates to the 1950s, with the medical assault on reproductive organs. The LGBT community transformed into a profitable investment and marketing constituency after the AIDS crisis. The addition of transsexualism, rebranded as ‘transgender’ for marketing purposes, introduces a new perspective on sexual identities, further normalizing the detachment of humanity from its foundational roots in sexual reproduction.”
“The primary catalysts driving the gender industry are rooted in technological developments entwined with an unfettered market. Medical-sex identities, along with technological reproduction, are at the forefront of attempts to advance our species beyond our current human borders. The strategic linking of an agenda aimed at deconstructing reproductive sex with a civil rights movement centered on same-sex attraction was pure genius—a metaphorical fox in the henhouse, but dressed as a hen.”
_____
Having myself been an unwitting member of the generation caught up in an earlier precursor “movement” within the same long-term agenda of transmogrifying the biological human into a mechanical robot, namely the “feminism’ of the Gloria Steinem era which insidiously atomized society by igniting the still ongoing destruction of the nuclear family unit, I’m quite familiar with how even the brightest and bravest among us can be mind-controlled to (foolishly) think we are “free to be me.”
”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
