The above graph looks so clear and simple. I do tend to be-LIE-ve it. On the other hand, I don’t trust anything put out by the UN.
And yet frankly, I do internally freak out at the number of young people I know who do not plan to have kids. And it’s not all selfishness. Frankly, I can understand the concern of many who are oriented towards re-creating a world that actually regenerates, rather than depletes.

Meanwhile, as a dear friend of mine in her early 20s tells me — and I know it makes her sad: “I don’t want to bring children into this world.”
