Meming It in May 2025.

Let’s begin with the usual apocalyptically bad news; And yet, this meme is out there, in public, with a growing aware audience! Most of whom are both dumbfounded and pissed!  So it’s all good news after all.

Remember: the meaning of “apocalypse” is revelation.

Scenes from daily life in 2025:

More and more, the covid con gets exposed. Here’s an example of a data point that I, and many many others, recognized early on . . . and is now coming to light.

Today I was at my local credit union, getting money from an account. My clerk, I sense, is gay. Dressed in a very gaudy fashion. Is he also an advocate of LGBT+? I have no idea. Even so,  he’s my very favorite bank clerk.

And yet, and yet: we need more moms like this one . . .

Besides:

Then there’s

Scenes from nightly life in 2025.

Trouble sleeping?

Remember, as my dear mother of eight fractious children used to intone:

Yeah, sounds good, in theory. Note the final luxury in this list . . .

Me? It’s been years, even decades, since I enjoyed a good night’s sleep. My dad was the same way. Genetic predisposition? Or, currently: is it insistent bladder awareness, cat coming and going, dog hogging the bed? And each time, when awakened, I once again pull out my ipad, and listen to something until I fall back asleep. Usually, it’s quick. Unfortunately, some podcasts are interesting.

And then, yes, sometimes, this, overwhelming even the most interesting podcast.

I think here, especially of my son Colin Cudmore, inventor of the Garden Tower,  who suffered an aortic catastrophe nearly two years ago which left him paralyzed from waist down and with more or less severe nerve pain. Luckily, his spirit not only survived, but is inspiring everybody around him. Most of this time he’s been a resident in Majestic Care, a nursing home; due to leave for his own apartment August 7! So my latest insomniac worries: easing the logistics of his coming transition. BTW: I post daily on his caring bridge site.

Okay, Ann, let go, let go.

Plus, I do know this, have known it for decades. Even so, I still need a reminder once in a while.
