Reflections on WAR & PEACE

First, thanks Juanita. Ain’t it the truth?

On the other hand, there’s that 10% . . .

During a month when a brand new possibly nuclear flash point seems to appear daily across this beleagered planet (the latest: India/Pakistan), here are two posts from my deep past that present my deeply held reflections on what is necessary for me to create peace on earth.

The first, documentation of a wild 19-day “Lord of the Flies”  raft trip down the Colorado River. What our little group went through then, reminds me of what the entire human race is going through now . . .

To Be One with the River

 

The second, an autobiographical quest for peace on earth.

OPENSPACE IS A VERB

 

In fact, when I die, and if I have a tombstone, I would like it to say: “She Opened Space.”

  1. I really like the 9 page treatise OPEN SPACE IS A VERB. The last paragraph of page 8 is especially poignant. The whole post gives me a much better understanding of your life journey.
