Today my 82nd birthday!

Today is my 82nd birthday. I’ve been celebrating since yesterday, given that it was yesterday, 12/18/24, that the Sun actually returned to its natal place in my birth chart. Sometimes it’s the 19th, sometimes the 18th. So when it’s the 18th, I celebrate for two days. This year, starting yesterday, I decided to ceremoniously clean and redo the wall that holds my small altar and what’s around it. First I cleaned the crystals, putting them in water and in the sun.

Then I renewed the wall. This morningI did a small ceremony for myself, with meditation, plus pulling cards from Tarot and Runes.

So far, I’ve heard from one brother and one sister; I imagine they’ll all be weighing in, since we send an email out to all of us as to who’s birthday is in upcoming month. Meanwhile, we will hold a Solstice Celebration Community Dinner tonight (two days early, on my birthday since our Community Dinner nights are always on Thursdays), following dinner with a likely hilarious white elephant gifting.

Several people are bringing their instruments, so music, and maybe singing too, for the finale.
