THE DEEPER TALE: How Cousin Megan Worked with Son Colin’s Kidneys — plus Mandalas!

March 10, 2024

Share this:

I just posted these two posts on caring bridge, and consider them both utterly remarkable.

March 10, 2024: What Colin actually told the kidney doc, in detail.

Yesterday I promised to tell a deeper version of the Tale of the $5 bill (see post from March 9) . Here it is.

The set-up: When I went to see Colin yesterday morning, I brought my ipad along so I could read him the post I put up on Friday, after he called to tell me what happened when he went back for his three month check up with the kidney doc. At first he demurred, didn’t really want or need to see it (he never looks at these posts), until I suggested he would really enjoy it.

I told him I had also emailed the post to Megan, along with a big “THANK YOU!” And, then read him her response to me, which I told him, I was going to include in the next caring bridge post. here it is:

“You both are so welcome. I’m glad to see the bet paid off! And Colin will frame it, that’s great, and a reminder that healing is always possible.

FYI I don’t claim to have powers. His body wanted to get better, I just knew to talk to it and help it get where it needed to go.”

Instantly Colin begged to differ with her assessment, or maybe I should say, he wanted to detail what she actually meant by “His body wanted to get better,” etc.

He told me that when he spoke with the kidney doc at his first session with him three months ago, this is what he actually told the doc–this amazing Tale of what Megan did for his kidneys:

To quote and paraphrase Colin, from my ipad notes:

From her beginning as a massage therapist, over the past 18 years or so my cousin Megan has evolved into a  holistic healer, having studied with a medicine man in Mexico and a number of  shamans in Central America.

When she walked in that evening to see me in the Indy hospital, they had told me that the left kidney was totally dead and the right kidney only barely functioning. Which is why they were going to continue the  dialysis sessions which were so horrifically painful that I didn’t feel I could survive another one.

Megan told me that when my aorta burst open, both kidneys had closed down like fists, to protect themselves.

So, she said, “I’m  going to ask them to open up, because without opening, they can’t function.”

Megan then placed one hand over the right kidney and one hand under it — and it opened immediately.

“Did you feel that?”

“Yes!”

She then put hands below and above the left kidney and it too opened immediately, though I didn’t feel it as much.

Then she said, “We’re going to ask them to bring blood back in, one kidney at a time,” and I felt that.

I absolutely felt the warmth come back into the right kidney; I hadn’t recognized that it was cold before, until I felt the blood come back in. Again, not as much feeling during blood flow into left kidney.

(In other words, she was was able to revive the left kidney, so no longer “dead,” but it doesn’t work as well as the right kidney.)

Then she said, “We’re going to ask each kidney to find a comfortable place, to settle in, so they can start working again.” That the kidney “makes a subtle fluttering motion, like ‘the queen’s wave,’ every seven seconds.”

I didn’t feel them finding the comfortable place, to settle in, but she told me they did and I trust her.

She worked on my kidneys, above and below, three nights in a row. Either on the third night or next time she visited, when working on the right kidney, she told me she “just got a download, the kidney’s operating instructions, appearing like a very intricate round mandala.” She told me that “until this happens, the kidney is still in jeopardy.”

Colin: “The look on her face when the mandala came in was what gave me the confidence to make the $5 bet. Because 100% I know and believed in her amazed healing abilities. I KNEW that the kidneys would recover. So the $5 bet was easy for me…’

_____

Colin actually told this astonishing story to the kidney doc during that first visit.

And yep. “The doc looked at me like I was sucking on a lemon.”

So then, this past Friday, when the same doc walked in with a crisp $5 bill, he said, “Not only did you win the bet, you trounced me.”

Colin: “We need both modalities, western medicine and holistic healing. Without both my surgeon’s immense skill and Megan’s subtle ministrations I wouldn’t have survived.”

Me: Not to mention all the prayers, energy and reiki that have flowed his way from many many other friends, healers, and family members as well!

March 10, 2024: Megan’s view of the mandala(s)!

Journal entry by Ann Kreilkamp —

See last post . . . Then:

When I emailed Megan asking permission to publish the details of her healing process with Colin, she gave it.

Me: That doc must have gone thru a profound process!

Megan: Either that, or he could have shaken off the pitch thinking it’s a one off…. regardless, there’s a future for that guy to do more holistic work now that he witnessed it 🙂
Then again, in another reply from Megan, she references mandalas, and says that the operating instructions mandala that she saw actually came from Colin!
“Wow, well, let’s give the credit to Spirit for it’s ability to step in and help when called (for I did pray for help when working on you), and also to you Colin, and your will to live, and your own healing guides from spirit and their ability to help you…  and finally to your body’s intelligence! For all of this is true.

When I first visited you in the hospital a month after your trauma, Colin, I’m certain you were on a lot of drugs, but even in that state you kept mentioning these geometric patterns you were seeing when you closed your eyes. Do you remember that? They kept coming, one shape after another, getting bigger, and you were just rolling with it.  You asked, what is that? What should I do with that?  I checked in on it and felt they were actually a form of help being sent to you by your healing team in spirit.  (You know who those guys are, they have worked with you on your inventions!)  I sensed that the mandalas were instructions, each one carrying codes of light and frequencies of information for how your body can move forward from this.  Does this ring a bell?  So it was no surprise when later, I was able to spend three nights in a row working on you, and I felt your kidneys unfurl into their relaxed position and self adjust to be right where they wanted for blood flow, and then you downloaded yet another mandala into them… I knew at that point those organs would have the instructions they needed to move forward.

I am so glad you are on your way, Cuz.  And I’m thrilled the organs have come back to such high functioning!!

Cuz loves cuz!”
_______
BTW: Colin wants everybody to know that before the August 16, 2023 aortic catastrophe, he had already tricked out his new school bus 80%, with furnishings suitable for fun excursions, and had decided to paint a mandala on the front of the bus. He plans on finishing the bus as soon as he can walk again. And figures that even if he ends up hobbling around, he can still finish the bus and take those long dreamed of trips.

TRUE TALE: Son Colin Cudmore’s Healing Journey . . .

You might enjoy a post I put up yesterday, on https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/colincudmorehealing.

March 8, 2024: Tale, over more than six months, of two kidneys, healer Megan, the kidney doc, and the $5 bet.

Colin, via text to Sean, Marita, and me: "Notice the fingernails on this hand. It clearly is not mine. It is my kidney doctor paying up on our bet!

Way back in early September, when Colin was still in the Indy hospital, his kidneys were only barely functioning, and he had been put on dialysis every other day. Four hours each time, and unlike for most people, this procedure was extremely painful for Colin, so much so, that after the fourth time, he told brother Sean and me that he didn’t know if he was going to make it. By which he meant that he could sense that the pain of dialysis was so acute that he could feel his life force draining away, and wanted to say goodbye to us beforehand.

(In fact, during the fourth dialysis, there had been two wonderful black nurses in the dialysis room who both came up to him and, sensing his life force leaving, had asked him if he would like them to pray with him. Which they then did, one on each side of him, for the entire dialysis session.)

I was so shaken by Colin’s obvious distress that I immediately called his healer cousin Megan, who drove from her home in northern Indiana to see him the next day. That evening she worked on his kidneys with both hands.

The next day, the kidney doc came in and told him that he had some good news. That his kidneys were improving! That they were going to postpone his scheduled dialysis for a few days to see if continued improvement.

A couple of days later, they were so certain of kidney improvement that they took out the dialysis port. When he left the hospital, soon after, for Majestic, his kidneys were functioning at 50%, still at disease level, however, but better.

Three months later, he had an appointment with a kidney doc here in Bloomington, transported there by the Majestic bus in his chair. The doc did the necessary tests, the results of which wouldn’t come back for ten days, and told Colin that hopefully his kidneys were now at 60%. Colin, so sure of Megan’s efficacy, scoffed, telling the doc he bet they were in the 70s or even 80s, because of his cousin’s miraculous powers. Now it was turn for the doc to scoff, told Colin he was being too optimistic. “Oh yeah, doc? I bet you $5 they will be in the 70s or 80s.”

“Well, that’s a bet that I will take,” replied the doc, so sure of his own prediction.

Ten days later, the results came back. Colin’s kidneys were in the 90s! i.e. normal.

Ok, fast forward to today, and his second three month kidney check up. Again, transported in his chair by the Majestic bus. He sat there in the waiting room, answering a slew of questions for a form the nurse was filling out, waiting for the doc.

He didn’t have to wait long.

The doc came through the door, a $5 bill in his hand.

He asked Colin what he was going to spend the money on.

“Nothin’. I’m going to frame it!”

Yes. That actually happened. This morning.

Assuming the tests they took today are good (again, results in ten days), he doesn’t have to see the kidney doc for another year.

Plus, I will be putting up an even deeper exegesis of this Tale there (and here?) tomorrow, hopefully. (Will have to get permission.)
