Our first of three Public Meetings. I’m in the blue shorts. Elisha, who is in the process of purchasing the third house in our Green Acres Permaculture Village from me, sits directly behind me. Christine, who belongs to the Christian Science church in our neighborhood that is hosting our meetings, and whom I haven’t see for years! — sits next to me. Jelene, who lives three blocks from here, in black. Jane, who lives two blocks from here, in foreground. I remember Jane from before she was married, and now I think she said her kids are nine and eleven!
Christine, Jelene, and Elisha joined in afterwards for twice-monthly Community Dinner.
”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
