On the folly of “TAKING SIDES”: Kucinich, Eisenstein, Bernard Guenther

I remember when brave, foolish idealist Dennis Kucinich proposed a Department of Peace. That was way back in 2002. Twenty one years later, here we are, the phenomenon of war having grown so horrifically that there may actually be some kind of extraordinary shift, just now, in the making. See yesterday’s post.  Here’s Kucinich’s latest:

The Nothingness of War Consciousness

In May of this year, RFK Jr. chose Kucinich to be his campaign manager. But on October 13, a few days after RFK Jr. decided to run as an Independent, Kucinich resigned. Why? He won’t say. However, RFK Jr. himself does appear to have picked a side: Israel.

Charles Eisenstein hones in on the inevitable perils of choosing sides.

A Story Told A Hundred Thousand Times

I wonder: is Eisenstein still part of the RFK Jr. campaign?

Former “activist” Bernard Guenther, in a long post explaining why he doesn’t take sides, presents the transformation he himself went through, and points especially to the necessity for shadow work. Remember: The line between good and evil runs through the heart of every single one of us. Whenever we “take sides,” we lose whatever balance we have managed to create within ourselves, and thus become ripe for the taking of whatever forces from beyond are running this clown show that aims to continuously divide us to the point where we fission into isolated atoms, splitting into the void, blown hither and yonder with no meaning, no context, nothing. Yes. As Kucinich puts it, the nothingness of war consciousness.

NEW MOON IN SCORPIO: Are we about to experience a sudden, unexpected about-face?

The Mideast continues to heat up as the Sun in Scorpio, now nearing 14° Scorpio, and moving one degree each day, approaches Mars, now at 17° Scorpio, and moving one degree every two days. In the wings, from the opposite side of the chart, eruptive Uranus at 21° Taurus, and holding.

For this next week, center and ground yourself as the maelstrom appears to be gathering steam.

And yet, and yet . . . see Laura Bruno’s instructive and detailed post on the upcoming New Moon in Scorpio. Interesting, and frankly, in line with my own intuition.

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967

“To me, the most interesting question about human memory is why only certain events, rather than others, carry a charge. Where does the charge come from?” — AK, 1986, A Soul’s Journey
“At a party, many decades ago, a man whom I had just met burst out, in a tone of wonder: ‘You are the first continuously splitting schizophrenic I’ve ever met!’ I bowed low and responded, ‘Thank you!’”
