Garden Work continues.

I especially love this photo of Joseph, using a machete to hack back the bambooish stalk thicket that springs up every year in what used to be our beautiful pond, gradually transformed, starting about five years ago? — to wetland. The thick stand of stalks make it impossible to see the main garden from my kitchen window. Grrrr . . .

Even better: leave the technocratic, corporatist “health care” (get and keep ’em sick and drugged: for profit) industry entirely (except, in my experience, for orthopedics, dental, and eye surgery!). Rely on myriad, natural, holistic approaches, not just for our and our children’s health, but for the health of our entire biosphere. Nature is our Mother and our Teacher.
