Note: For Laura Bruno’s post on this special Full Moon, see this.
Map of visibility for total lunar eclipse for May 15-16, around midnight. Here in Bloomington, Indiana, and for most of the eastern half of the U.S., the full eclipse will be visible as the shadow of the Earth entirely covers the face of the Moon. The entire experience will last from 11:29 PM May 15 through 12:53 AM May 16, for a total of nearly one and a half hours. The moment of exactness: 12:11 AM.
Notice that this Full Moon/Total Eclipse makes a strong multi-planet configuration with not just Saturn, but Pluto and a conjunction of Mars/Neptune with nearby Jupiter as well. Saturn turns it into a T-cross, with Saturn in the mental, rebellious sign of Aquarius like an arrow, about to be shot to the other side: LEO. The Individual, sovereign, expressing fully from the open heart all that comes through. This is our task, each of us.
The opposition (full Moon) itself is in the dark, emotional sign of Scorpio, which along with the karmic south node opposes the grounded, earthy sign of Taurus and its conjunction with the dharmic north node. How do you integrate powerful emotions? Get off your (Aquarius) screen for a moment and go outside; stand with bare feet on the ground. Dig in. Feel the energy of Earth rising up through your body to your heart, where it meets the influx of rebellious ideas raining down from above, and circulates there, in Leo’s couer-ageous heart, radiating into the universe as LOVE.
Add to that the fact that Pluto in Capricorn — continuing its inexorable task of deconstructing current patterns, frameworks, structures, organizations, governments — sextiles and trines the full Moon, as do Mars/Neptune plus Jupiter. Sextiles and trines are harmonious aspects, and taken together this aspect pattern is unusually complex and integrated. And remember, the stern, disciplined Saturn in Aquarius arrow that will release this pent-up emotional energy points to Leo. The Individuated Self, taking his or her authority from within.
Notice too, that Jupiter has now moved into Aries; it did that on May 11, moving from dreamy, watery, delusional/and/or spiritual Pisces to fiery Aries, itching for a fight. Or at least itching to take action. Jupiter (with a twelve year cycle) moves through each sign in one year, so expect the energy of rebellion to continue. Mars with Neptune, to me, signals that the veils of illusion and propaganda that have held us in their miasmic grip via broadcast media are quickly disintegrating. Think Netflix, CNN, all the mainstream bullshit that is being revealed, more and more and more, as bullshit, fake.
I view the two Full Moons, Scorpio (in May) and Taurus (in November), as the most powerful full moons of the year. Powerfully emotional. Requiring us to ground, in order to be able to integrate the energy without violence. So, make that power even more precise with a full lunar eclipse, and add to that all the integrated energies — Pluto, Saturn, Mars/Neptune with Jupiter — and we’re in for a memorable, possibly game-changing full Moon. And remember, the energy of an eclipse continues for about six months.
And, just in time for May 22, when two events are supposedly to take place. One, the WHO takes over the U.S., and the other: NATO forces invade Ukraine. Oh? We’ll see what happens next. There are millions of activated, sovereign Leonine individuals on this Earth at the present time, and I think we’re going to be enjoying the expressive energy of more and more of them, both locally, nationally, and internationally.
Hopefully, that will include each of us. Let us roar! And crucial, for our sanity: let us have fun doing it. For example, here’s DJT, on Truth Social two days ago, mocking Biden for calling him The Great Maga King.
Speaking of the spirit of rebellion, here’s an interesting post by Jon Rapoport.
