  1. Yesterday, a mild bruise finally appeared on my arm. At first I wondered why . . . Body had to remind me of what I had gone through!

  2. Wow, glad you're okay. I have been laying low and avoiding cars as much as possible, too, due to similar placements, as you know. Of course, I've got four planets in Gemini, including Mercury at 4° Gemini, plus ASC-DSC at 3° Virgo Pisces, plus natal Pholus at 7° Pisces, Mars at 10 Pisces, Neptune at 5 Sagittarius, plus the Grand Trine in Air at 1°. Just finished with my MC-IC at 28° Taurus/Scorpio ... and had a wildly synchronous email arrive at the exact moment of the Mars-Uranus conjunction, also when the Moon was at 0°01' Pisces, conjunct the North Node near my DSC. In other words ... things are VERY Uranian here, too, and have been for quite some time!

  4. Some deer ate about 80% of my lilies this year. I always heard lilies were deer resistant, but not this year. I can't believe they decimated so much of my "reliable" bulbs. Meanwhile, we came home to THREE groundhogs yesterday, making great haste through our backyard. Fortunately, we have so much clover that they just did some weeding for us back there, but it was enough to suggest our neighbor please call someone to trap and release the family now living in her shed. No more babies! They've already doubled in size since last week.

  6. I am committed to my own discipline in the area of staying healthy and eating right. Lately though, I'm feeling tired of the deprivation, which I don't normally mind or notice much. I've allowed myself some treats without my usual self-flagellation and fretting after. It's really lovely. I think the sudden deaths of one long-time and one recent friend have shaken me up a bit. It's a good idea to take excellent care of one's health, but it is silly not to enjoy delicious treats now and again. We never know if we have a tomorrow. If I died tonight at least I had some delicious cake with fresh blueberries from our garden. :)

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
