Here we go again. “Bomb bomb bomb Iran!”

 

Sorry. (See yesterday’s post.)  I can’t resist looking further into what just happened. And for commentary, I tend to trust Colonel Douglas Macgregor and former weapons inspector Scott Ritter.

First, remember this song?

Macregor relates how, the last time this happened, in 2019, when excited warmongers descended upon Trump in the White House, after asking a bunch of questions, starting with “How many will be killed?” and ending with “After we strike, then what?”  he simply said “NO.” At which point all the warmongers filed back out of the White House, despondent. “Trump,” Macgregor says, “has good instincts. And he trusts his instincts.”

MacGregor gives a wider perspective than Ritter, below, who focuses specifically on the brilliance of Iran’s strategic, measured response to Israel, and what it communicates to both Israel and the U.S.

Let’s face it. Mom is right.
