Transit Jupiter is now crossing the same degree transit Uranus occupies, exactly, for the first time in 14 years. But the last time this conjunction occurred in the sign of Taurus was during World War II.
Let’s break this down:
Taurus: fixed earth sign, security, instincts, money, values, material world, steady, stubborn, stable.
Uranus: surprising, eruptive, sudden, unexpected changes
Uranus, with an 84 year cycle, moves through one sign in 7 years. In 2018, it moved from Aries into Taurus, briefly, and then in 2019, began its slow march through this most change-adverse of signs. Have you noticed: whatever we have taken for granted in the material world, is destructuring?
Uranus will leave Taurus in April 2026, for Gemini. By this time, how much of the material world we took for granted will still exist?
Jupiter: expansion, luck, generosity, wisdom, optimism
Jupiter in Taurus: expands earth energy in some way; money expands too (inflation!), so not always good.
Jupiter and Uranus meet in Taurus, as I said, this week, with their actual exact conjunction occurring at 21°50′ Taurus April 20-21.
Last week was the lead up.
Next week is the follow through.

Think of Jupiter as the bird, and Uranus as the trouble.
Jupiter offers a philosophical perspective on earthly matters.
Okay, now let’s get down close and personal:
My Moon sits at 23°02 Taurus. This Jupiter/Uranus conjunction affects me hugely, in an ongoing way, much of which I don’t want to speak about until all the moving pieces clear up. Suffice it to say that it has to do with my three properties here, their future with me as their owner.
Meanwhile, here’s a small example of what Jupiter/Uranus has already wrought in my life.
My friend Marita, who lives in one of our Green Acres houses, needed a new (used) car, her old one having gone caput. I went with her three times, to check out cars, all of which turned out to be dicey in one way or another.
We were driving my car, since she didn’t have one, and in doing so that car got many more miles in than usual.
I use my car three to four times per week, two of them to go see my son Colin at Majestic Care (a 20-minute drive each way), plus once or twice for errands.
She needs a car much more than I do, both for her dog walking business, and to pick up and deliver her son from Terre Haute (one hour away) on weekends, plus visits with Colin three times a week.
All of a sudden (Uranus) I realized (Jupiter) that I could share my car with Marita. I don’t need a car full time, why should I “have my own car”? Not necessary. This blew me away, this recognition, this sudden destructuring and restructuring of attitudes towards and arrangements in the “real world.”
Told her about the idea. She loved it! Rent or buy in? We worked out the details. She will pay me $120/month for use of the car. She will pay for gas and oil changes. If major problems that have built up over years (it’s a 2006 Prius, with only 134,000 miles on it) need fixing, I will pay for them. She is now on my insurance (very cheap, surprising! $6.50/month extra), and volunteered to pay for half my insurance, included in the $120/month she hands over.
We’re still working out the details. Like when do we have to notify each other that we need the car? And we both get slightly annoyed by having to put the seat back or up each time!
But hell, I love the fact that Bob Dylan is running, whenever I turn on the ignition.
And she’s already taken the car in for a badly needed wash.
