POST-MIDTERM S/ELECTION DRAMA: A sinking feeling . . .

. . . gradually overwhelmed me, once I began to realize yesterday evening what was happening with US midterm elections. Same old story, same old song. Of course! Why do I get so worked up each time? Like a puppet on a string, am I. Ruled by my emotions . . . as I fall down mentally, and then, once I hit bottom (or the bottom I’m aware of, there’s always further, further down . . .), spring up!

Because . . . yes, as so many twitter/X posters remind us: remember EO 18484: The current midterm s/election drama won’t be over until December 18th!

Okay. So is this but the usual hopium? 45 days for this, another 45 days for that, before s/election is what? Formally certified? Stands as real?

But what’s real? is politics real? Is any human linguistic flow that oh so slowly and surely calcifies into bureaucratic structures real?

Martin Geddes’ current post, put out on election day itself, sees U.S. “elections” within a human-constructed linguistic frame that only allows for either/or choices. Well of course, we say. This is something we well know and chafe within; but who among us has the analytic and creative  energy and intelligence to view our situation within a larger meta-frame?

Also, remember that Trump has one hugely significant opposition in his chart, namely Sun opposite Moon — in the third decanate of Gemini/Sagittarius; so he obviously sees way beyond any trivial factual (Gemini) base scenario. And, in fact, this is where he shines!

His karmic/dharmic north/south nodes (the path of destiny) just happen to be conjunct his Sun/Moon opposition, in yes, those factual and perspective seeking signs of Gemini and Sagittarius. South node (the past) in Sagittarius: He’s held vast (Sagittarian) perspectives before (South Node:past lives?); and is viewing the passing (Gemini) show now (North Node), within a vast historical/political/cultural, etc. (Sagittarian) perspective.
