Sociology Professor, ten years ago: “If transgenderism becomes normal, we will lose our civilization.”

So here we are, June 2, second day of PRIDE month. A whole month. Here’s a better name for it.

The propaganda is literally spewing from every direction imaginable. And if not outright promoting sex between adults and minors, and worse . . .

It’s difficult now, not to sense that if we can identify a single root cause of our rapidly disintegrating culture, it’s the possibly terminal cancerous condition afflicting all institutions of society known as “transgenderism,” and related categories: WOKE, CRT, DEI, and so on.

I listened to part of a video presentation recommended by Jennifer Bilek yesterday and was riveted by what was said in the very beginning. (See 1:37 through 3:00).

Dreher said that ten years ago, a few months following the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize gay marriage, he gave a talk at a private gathering of Christian leaders, followed by another talk by a Professor of Sociology of the Family (not named) who said back then that the real trouble will come when “we lose the gender binary. That if transgenderism becomes normal we will lose our civilization.” Dreher says that the professor did not explain what he meant; he wonders why nobody, including himself, asked.

The professor’s words were prophetic, obviously.

I’ve been thinking that the first serious crack in the foundation of western culture was gay marriage, even though I was all for it at the time, assuming that gay couples had as much right to have their unions legalized in some way (so that they could get tax breaks; so that one of them, if hospitalized, could legally call upon the other, etc.). On the other hand, why “marriage”? Isn’t marriage basically an institution meant to propagate the species? So even back then, I did wonder.

Okay, now, a few days ago I discovered that the “Q” in LGBTQ+ means “Questioning,” though some say it means “Queer.” I had wondered why the Q? — if Queer is all it means, since that doesn’t add anything new to the list. But Questioning does.  Just think of all the adolescents, especially the 1 in 36 now who are autistic, in the throes of horrific hormonal confusion during their teenage years, having to either resist or buy into massive transgender programming slammed into them at school and on social media. I’d be questioning too; in fact I’d be downright confused, and thus ripe fruit for the evil transhumanist agenda that aims to replace biological reproduction with technological transmogrification, so that, when all is said and done, the biological human species will have gone extinct.

Can you imagine, every day when you, a thin, young, sensitive autistic male, arises from bed and wonders, desperately, your existential confusion epic: “What clothes to wear? Should I go as a female today? Do I dare? Can I handle whatever the meanies taunt me with? How many people will refuse to use my she/her/they/them pronouns today? Even my mother, who tries really hard to go along with whatever I want, sometimes fails to make the switch.”

And your poor Mom!

Though our autistic teenager isn’t into identifying as something he’s not beyond his need to see his inner self as female, others obviously are.
