Stop Rushing, Ann!

In other words, if I have only one life to life (probably not true), then, even at 81 years old, make the best of it; do everything consciously, with deliberation and gratitude. I swear I have been divinely protected these last few weeks; several near misses with other cars . . . each time I give thanks, to both the other driver and to whoever else is helping me thread my way through the increasing tumult.

Today, went to see son Colin at Majestic Care this morning, stopping to get him Starbucks beforehand, with puppy Shadow walk after. Got back at 12:15, ravenous. Took salad I picked up at Aldi’s out to the greenhouse where Marita was planting seeds. We had scheduled a “work party” for 1 PM, but nobody came but us! So after 40 minutes I came back inside and did my daily caringbridge post for Colin, plus worked on a exciting project that involves other people and  is not ready for publicity yet. . .

Pant pant. Now, can I take a nap? Or should I forego my usual nap, give up, and go outside to the yurt for my daily yoga, chikung, taichi?
