I’ve been very much appreciating the fine trail system that Bloomington offers, with puppy Shadow and I upping our walking miles from 3-4 to 5 just to take it all in during springtime. Today, we went out to what used to be called Goat Farm Park —because it used to be a goat farm, with a barn that has been repurposed. This park connects to another park, and two other trails, one of them brand new, so we got our five miles in.
Here’s Shadow, along one of the many creeks that bless this part of the rolling midwest hill country.
And here’s the entrance to what what used to be the 32 acre Goat Farm Park, now renamed Rogers Family Park.
