2022: When We Transform Emergency into Emergence

Psychic Magenta Pixie’s channel on Telegram pointed me to this Teal Swan forecast. I listened to it while doing yoga, and found it well worth my time. Plus: I was reminded to get out my ephemeris and check this new year’s positions and motions of especially Saturn, Uranus, and Jupiter. Her focus on the need for simplification, and on looking closely and making choices that are good for us, remind me of Saturn, and it’s relentless work of making sure that we notice our stuck places and learn from our mistakes.

Stern, disciplined Saturn in mental Aquarius has been squaring volatile, unpredictable, experimental Uranus in earthy Taurus off and on, during these last two Covid years, starting in the spring of 2020, and ramping up between February and July 2021, and September through November. But the crux point of this difficult pairing of planets utterly antithetical to each other’s nature (and thus forcing uncomfortable structural change) came at the end of December 2021, and into this entire month of January 2022. Whatever needs to change is becoming glaringly obvious, RIGHT NOW, for all of us individually, and for the culture as a whole. On an individual level, take stock of your habits, routines, patterns in daily life. What is working, what not? How to enhance your vitality via new habits, routines, patterns?

As Teal Swan recommends, experimentation is very much the name of the game for the foreseeable future. Let go of the past and let intuition guide your way forward. In order to do this, you must trust the universe. Trust that whatever you intend in a sincere and meaningful manner, will magically begin to bend reality in the direction of your intent.

Now that Jupiter has moved into mysterious Pisces, which it did just a few days ago, on December 30, the need for —and I sense, the ability to — trust the mysterious ways of the universe is enhanced. Teal Swan echoes Jupiter’s entrance into Pisces when she refers to our gathering need to let go of old (Capricorn) forms of religion and move instead into spirituality.

Given the current intensity of the continuous disturbance created by the Saturn/Uranus combo, and the shift of Jupiter into a new sign (happens once per year), if you’re feeling that the shift from one year to the next from 2021 to 2022 is unusually critical and meaningful, you’re right!

BTW: Saturn and Uranus will work with the square between them one more time, September through November 2022. By then, hopefully, we will all be more “comfortable” with the experimental approach to life which requires us to pay close attention (Saturn) to what is changing (Uranus), and to adjust (Saturn) accordingly. By this time, our new habit, routine, pattern will be to constantly adjust! So no big deal! Emergency transforms into Emergence.

And BTW also: Jupiter will not stay in Pisces all year, but will actually move forward into fiery, impulsive Aries  from May through the end of October 2022. In other words, fully six months of this year will be Arian in feeling, stimulating the energies of courage as well as fury, depending on one’s level of awareness. Important to stay centered, and not turn into just another hot-head!

Jupiter’s journey back and forth through Pisces will enhance briefly, the long-running Neptune in Pisces signature (2011-2025). As usual, outer planet energies tend to act negatively in the collective, at least at first, and mystical Neptune’s journey through Pisces certainly has done that during this transit, given the mass formation hypnotic spell that was so successfully cast over much of the human population. Also, as Teal Swan recognizes, addictions are front and center, both in their strength, and in the determined need to overcome them.

At an even deeper level, Pluto continues to plough through top-down structural Capricorn (2008-2025), and what Teal Swan says about the lessons of totalitarianism ring utterly true. And, with Pluto returning to its natal place for the first time in history for the U.S. (exact for the first time February 21, 2022), so are her remarks about massive structural (Capricorn) changes in the U.S. Government and its founding documents.

The first New Moon of this new year, i.e., the first lunar new beginning of the Solar new beginning is tomorrow, January 2!

Happy New Year, plus New Moon in Capricorn

  1. […] again, I listened to this remarkable video while doing yoga this morning. And frankly, I found it more and more interesting as it wore on. Basically, I agree […]

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
