MEME STREAM, Valentine’s Day

February 14, 2024

Valentine’s day originally a pagan holiday?

Which then transmogrified into a grisly execution of St. Valentine?

Whatever its origins, it’s a thoroughly secular holiday now.

Okay, moving right along. So many absurdities to cover! Impossible to keep up! But let’s give it the good old try, shall we?

Okay, remember this?

Then there’s this, from way back, on February 2!  The customary Trumpian boomerang effect. Fani Willis, whose fate may be decided tomorrow!

Okay, then there’s the Taylor Swift insertion into already utterly crazy U.S. politics.

Hmmmm . . .

Okay, let’s go!

When is she going to mention the big bugaboo of her generation: “climate change.” Huh? Huh? I’m old enough to know better. Been through various global porn rollouts for decades now.

Besides, it’s all part of a MUCH larger scam . . .

Remember the Mar-A-Lago raid? Well, what if this is likely?

Here’s excellent fallout from the four year covid con: nobody trusts “the government” anymore! Not even the ones who were vaxxed, and likely boosted, and still alive, though possibly getting constant flues and colds, and/or parkinsons, or their circulation is all messed up, etc. etc. — though most of them have such defended egos that they still can’t and probably won’t ever admit to the absurdity of it all, much less to having made a mistake or even worse, having been conned; even so, are not they too suffering an (unconscious?) erosion of trust in outside experts, authorities, institutions that claim to “govern” them.

Oh hell, I can’t stop myself from posting yet another meme on the woke absurdity which, frankly pisses me off no end, especially because they actually managed to hijack the rainbow.

BTW:  Indiana Attorney General Tod Rokita is now pushing back . . .

Is the concept of “artificial” now meaningless?

It appears that we are already well into the year when all that we have taken for granted dissolves. And it’s not just malevolent actors on earth that want to do us in, as in:

It’s something far “worse” — said from within my all-too-human point of view.

What If DNA Code Is Artificial Intelligence

We are an expression of an immense mystery which we cannot objectify – because we are the subject and not any object.

Tom Bunzel is on twitter/X, where I found another of his essays, deeply interesting, and far more optimistic, at least it appears to me, given that he hearkens back to what indigenous peoples have to teach us about their own communion with all that is.

Spiritual Survival in a World of AI

I excerpt his final two paragraphs:

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
“The longer we live, the larger, the richer the background against which all future experiences take place, and the more complex and subtle our understanding of our own past.” — AK, 1986, A Soul’s Journey
“To me, the most interesting question about human memory is why only certain events, rather than others, carry a charge. Where does the charge come from?” — AK, 1986, A Soul’s Journey
“At a party, many decades ago, a man whom I had just met burst out, in a tone of wonder: ‘You are the first continuously splitting schizophrenic I’ve ever met!’ I bowed low and responded, ‘Thank you!’”
”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
