Marco Rubio Meme Stream: Oh My!

January 15, 2026

This man wears so many hats! Designated Secretary of State during the second Trump administration, that was back in January 2025, just one year ago, he now wears so many hats I wonder if even he can keep track. But why should he? It seems like just about everybody trusts him. (Including me.) What is it about this guy? I think, for me, I sense that this remarkable being is not working from ego. Which normally, one would think impossible! Isn’t that how we get things done? In this sense Rubio creates a remarkable contrast/complement to his boss, Trump, who utilizes his ego in masterful ways.

Search Marco Rubio Memes on X/twitter, for one might say, the history of our times, or rather, I should say, the constantly evolving presence of our very current, tumultuous moment, as spelled out through creatives riffing off this one photo, where looks alike a deer caught in the headlines . . . oops, I mean headlights. As in . . .

“Oh geez! What have I gotten myself into?”

For example . . .

Let’s load him up!

Yeah baby!

Then there’s this:

Let’s see, he’s also supposed to run Venezuela, Cuba, and oh yeah, Greenland?

What else?

In any case, there are lots more, lots and lots:

REFLECTIONS ON TERRITORIES, in Space, and in Time: “Greenland,” “Israel,” Scott Adams life review

January 14, 2026

Today, as warlike Mars presses onto the Sun, both in stratetic, goal-oriented Capricorn, and Trumpian pressure on Greenland as the next territory to “conquer,” after Venezuela — all this, BTW, I should qualify with the word “apparently” . . . because who knows? I sure don’t.

(Meanwhile, geez! the word “Trump,” is it some kind of joke, the way the world is being swayed into one flawed (like all of us) man’s influence, a man whom some call the reincarnation of Cyrus the Great? Google AI:

Frankly, I for one, still find the focus on Israel, and Israel itself as a “state,” and “those who live in Israel or support it” and those designated as “Jews,” viewed as either “good or evil,” as utterly weird and mystifying. Anytime Israel comes up for review, I just throw up my hands.

And this, despite the fact that I learned, fairly recently, that given my own ancestry, I myself, am a “Jew.”

What? Who cares? What “identity” has meaning except the character of the unique individual, whoever that may be? As shown through ideas, beliefs, values, and above all, intentions and actions, throughout a life.

Which reminds me, Scott Adams, who died early yesterday, Scott Adams, one of the few influencers who actually apologized to us anti-vaxxers two years ago . . .

. . . left a remarkable statement about his assessment of his own life and purpose; looking back over what he had done, he decided that his “plan to be useful” worked.

Hard to read, I know. Here are excerpts:

Hmmm . . .

I like this idea: look back over my life as I have lived it until now, and ask myself: am I  fulfilling my own meaning and purpose? In other words, write my own obituary; at 83, I  may do this, at least as an exercise. If so, I’ll post it here. But just think of it: each of us, no matter how young or old, can die at any moment. Adams himself was only 68 (and, yes vaxxed). He was fortunate, in that he had been put on notice; death swings near: time to review.

Imagine people of any age, getting together in person to read each other their own current obituaries. Imagine the cultural frisson generated from that.

Scott Adams’ very unusual and gracious attitude towards his own living and dying was the very public capstone to his extraordinary legacy.
