BRAND NEW BEGINNING: Saturn/Neptune at 0° Aries.

Are you aware that Saturn entered Aries on February 13th, around 7:12 PM EST? And that when it did so it also began its deeply historic union with also recently arrived Neptune at 0° Aries (on January 27th)? And that, by February 20th, these two will be exactly conjunct to the minute at 0°44′ of Aries?

Okay. So what? You may shrug your shoulders and ask.

Here’s why this conjunction boggles the mind and fires the imagination:

Occurring at the “Aries point,” the very beginning of the zodiac, this Saturn/Neptune conjunction is the very first one in literally thousands of years. (Nobody’s sure of when it actually last occurred.)

Furthermore, for more context:

While the Saturn/Neptune conjunction in itself happens every 36 years (the last one in November 1989, which saw the fall of the Berlin wall — a wall (Saturn) which had been up for 30 years, one Saturn cycle), that they occurred in Aries is itself rare, the last one occurring in 1702.

So: that this conjunction is reaching exact conjunction at 0° Aries now, during the month of February, 2026, do you begin to grok its significance? That this conjunction launches what comes next for humanity, via practical left brain (Saturn) logic integrated with right brain (Neptune) vision, imagination?

Yes. Let us as a people, and as individuals, unleash our visionary (Neptune) imaginations upon the material (Saturn) world. And let us ignite (Aries) that imagination in a directed, disciplined manner (Saturn) to accomplish seemingly impossible (Neptune) goals (Saturn).

I cannot help but connect this Saturn/Neptune conjunction late on February 13th with the speech Secretary of State Marco Rubio gave at the Munich Security Conference on February 14.

And to notice how Marco Rubio’s astrology (with no birth time, unfortunately) —

— reflects an extraordinary imaginative and forward thinking capacity: Jupiter and Neptune at 1° and 2° Sagittarius, a conjunction which opposes the midpoint of a wide conjunction between his Saturn at 27° Taurus (where transit Uranus sits now!) and his Sun at 6° Gemini.

His emotional speech (likely his Moon IS in late Cancer, not early Leo, and likely his Ascendant is also in a water sign), and his steadily proceeding grounded presence (Mercury/Venus plus Saturn in Taurus) are continuously and directly conflicting, in stubborn frictional square with his natal need (Mars in Aquarius, in airy (mental) grand trine with Uranus and Sun) to fire up the  Aquarian attitude of sovereign nations of the Western world, co-operating, in concert with one another, moving forward together while maintaining their own individuality.

On Feb. a solar eclipse coincides with the lunar new year of the fire horse. That strikes me as astrologically significant. What do you see?

It certainly does. I’m getting to it NOW.

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
