I continue to be grateful for the presence of some substack accounts, their authors’ long-form, thoughtful, researched essays a welcome alternative to the short bursts on twitter, gab, telegram, truthsocial.
I had no idea that substack actually began in 2017, thinking it must have sprung up of nowhere this year. Here’s an appreciative review by The Guardian, which surprised me, since substack enables authors to take direct aim at mainstream media.
The first substack author who really blew my mind was BioClandestine, discovered on Telegram. Now I’ve discovered another one: Burning Bright. I first read his post Bicameral Brilliance, which helped me immensely to grok how Game Theory is playing out in the political minefield.
Reading that one I realized that I need to go back and read the ones that led up to it. But . . . No time! No time! Oops, then, today’s post, Bright Brief – Hot Potato, on what might be William Barr’s role in the ongoing Art of War.

In short: either Barr is secretly working for the white hats, or he really is a traitor, in which case, either he knows what he’s doing or he doesn’t. But it doesn’t matter. Either way, his attitude is driving the DOJ to investigate those purloined MAL docs, which is what Trump and company want . . .
Sometimes it feels like I’m back in junior high, riveted to a Nancy Drew mystery story . . . And when it doesn’t drive me crazy (given that the stakes are extraordinarily high), it’s kinda fun to try to suss out what’s really doing on.
Reminds me of the Q phenomenon, which General Flynn appears to have dissed recently, but I don’t really think he has; he’s just pointing to it as a government psy-op. Psy-op doesn’t mean “bad;” it could be “good”! Either way, it’s a psychological operation to get us to think in a certain way, “drive the narrative in a certain direction.” And as he says. There is no “Plan.” The plan is us, We, the People.
Put the above next to more and more obvious hints of Trump’s more and more obvious association with Q, and the frisson is delicious.

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
