Oh wait a minute! That’s cerulean blue (meant to invoke the infinitely blue, serene sky), the color that Jackie Kennedy wore when JFK was assasinated; the color that Melania wore when Trump was first inaugurated (definitely a semiphore) back in 2017. (Don’t believe me? Look it up!)

I’m, of course, flummoxed, the way I’m supposed to be, my lazer-focused (ha!) attention grabbing on to this issue within the Maduro op and squeezing it for all it’s worth, my always distracted emotional body desperate for something to anchor onto, seeking meaning, meaning, meaning.

Naive question, the one that came to me first: whether the op is real or not. Why didn’t they just fix all the colors (reduce them to one color) with cgi? Makes me think they want us to see them all, wonder how come, so that cognitive dissonance shuts down the critical mind, to render us compliant, suckers for whatever comes next. As usual.

Admittedly, this is the cynical side of me talking today, mostly. I also enjoy, endure, it’s “opposite,” Exaltation! Yay! We are winning! Both!

And I’m not stuck in the middle, either. I’m trying like hell to balance the opposites, to live in the pulsing presence between them. Now, today, this hour, this minute, this very second.
