Green Acres Village internet site is revving back up!

Though I promised myself I’d take Sundays off from posting on this site, I do want to let you know that our greenacresvillage.org site, which had been seriously neglected, is revving back up again, with yours truly as the weekly blogger. I also post the same to fb. New housemate Aya is beginning to post her photos on the similarly neglected Instagram site. So our larger function as a template for others who wish to start similar cooperative experiments “growing community from the ground up” in this time of tremendous social, political, and cultural upheaval is reviving.

I’ve posted three times there so far; you might want to check them out.

Also, I saw a story in the local paper today about the gaming culture, and how cooperative board games are beginning to replace both on-line games and competitive board games. That, in these new, in-person games, instead of people playing against each other, they are cooperating with each other to beat the game! Sound familiar? It should.

Sudden thought. I wonder if the crocuses are up? Went and looked. YES!

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
