Would that we could now redirect that enormous collective joy into turning more real wars into pretend ones. Not just in team sports; but daily confrontations, both personal and collective. For example: today on my morning walk I saw, on Kirkwood, just across from the IU campus, a large white sign, saying Burn Capitalism Down, something like that, signed with a big Capital A, with a circle around it, which I took to mean Antifa.
Time to choose:
Joy or Fury,
Love or “hate” (i.e., fear)
Fear = False Evidence Appearing Real.
Fear is pretend.
Love is Real.
Let us turn more conflicts into pretend and infuse them with Love.
