Let us move beyond “Looking Good While Doing Evil”

Not that those driven to kill innocent civilians of either Israel or Palestine are necessarily “looking good.” As the slaughter recommences let us remember:

There Is No Flag Large Enough to Cover the Shame of Killing Innocent People

This next dude, lauded in death by the establishment for all his “accomplishments,’ should have known better . . .

I mean, look at the list!

Henry Kissinger, Top U.S. Diplomat Responsible for Millions of Deaths, Dies at 100

On the other hand, does “hell” really exist? Or is it a way of trying (and failing) to keep humans from killing each other?

Whenever we invoke “God,” we also claim the high road. Then, paradoxically and all too often, use the term, or its cognates, to invoke war.

Clif High goes even further than Alan Watts, insisting that the Elohim of the Bible are/were, in reality, corporeal space aliens here to enslave humanity. He does make a clear distinction however, between the evil critters who populate the bible and what he calls “the Creator God.”

Hmmm . . . So there’s “God” again, as if separate from the “created” universe. Could  universe have existed forever, in all directions? So that the entire panoply is shot through with the divine? That’s my “position.” Me: “sovereign soul, at one with all.”

I consider this next a very informative tweet: the difference between ego-integration and invoking the soul “with the aim to unite with the divine.”
