At the UN the other day, when one member stood sanctimoniously and asked others to stand for a minute in honor of the Ukraine dead, Russia’s ambassador broke in after several seconds and asked the assembly to stand in honor of all who have died on both sides during this Ukraine war, starting in 2014. 

And one by one, looking around to see if others would stand (since so many are bought and paid for) more and more of them actually, sheepishly, did.
