I remember, back on 911, deciding to put photos of Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld on my altar. I figured that my own spiritual practice was to learn how to love even these vile creatures.

Now I think, Bush? His father’s puppet. Rumsfeld. Dead, at 88, as of 2021. But mastermind Cheney, with daughter Liz as his puppet? Still going strong, apparently.

 

P.S. Just realized: “vile” is an anagram of “evil.”
