SATURN IN PISCES: “The first amendment protects our right to be wrong; it protects our right to lie!”

Yes, of course we are often wrong, and luckily, both our own further experiences and others’ feedback loops help us to correct our mistakes. After all, as Shellenberger concludes, “we are often wrong! That’s what makes us human!”

And yes, even deliberate lies are protected because, after all, every single time we open our mouths to speak we encounter the open space of free will choice — to speak honestly or to lie. Without free will, we are not human. That capacity especially, is what makes us all-too-human: our unfettered choice to walk, or even run, along a psychological/epistemological/sociological edge wherein if we slip and fall, we plummet into the abyss, the abyss of disconnection from others.

For that is what “hell” is, the abyss, where, having retreated into our lying ego shells, we cannot help but feel isolated, ungrounded, fearful. Then, in order to not admit our loneliness, our lack of integrity, even to ourselves, we retreat further, depressed, use addictions to lick our wounds. Or, we utilize our enormous capacity for innovation, creativity, in merely its lowest, flickering, form: pretending, fakery. In this case, in order to overwhelm our innate conscience, we project false energy, defensive bombast, more lies to cover the first lies!

This extreme behavior, of those who would protect their own lies with bigger, stronger, more bombastic lies, is being exposed in Jim Jordan’s House Judiciary Committee hearing on Weaponization of the Federal Government, which featured, yesterday, two independent journalists — chosen by the Biden administration! — Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger, who, standing in integrity together, braved, and kindly called to task, the tantrums of those who lie to cover their own guilty conscience.

But first, two more J6 videos, examples of what I imagine Tucker Carlson would have liked to show, but is apparently (wouldn’t you know!) being muzzled now.

Okay. Here goes . . .

Switching from J6 Censorship to the Hearing’s focus on the machinations of the Covid Con, I choose to leave out the absurd tantrums, and focus on a single clip, Rep. Thomas Massie’s commentary, for the first two minutes, followed by Taibbi, for one minute, and Schellenberger, for another minute. Only four minutes in all. Well worth your time.

THE “CENSORSHIP INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX” EXPOSED

The graciousness of both Taibbi and Shellenberger cannot be overstated.

Hopefully, with these two showing the way, we can move into a new era of truth-telling, where, as Q put it, “we are the news now.”

FROM POLITICS TO SPIRITUALITY

One twitter comment to the above really struck me:

I agree. That’s why politics is filled with so much passion; we miss religion! Or, I’d rather say: We miss spirituality, our original connection to the divine!

Instead, for centuries, this natural communion between Above and Below, Within and Without, was hijacked, by religious beliefs, dogmas, theologies, (mental) “frameworks” (what I call “conceptual helmets”)  and their multifarious interpretations, plus, for Christians, the Adam and Eve origin story that spawned the made-up doctrine that we are born with “original sin” and so need to be saved, by an intermediary (“priest”) inserted between our individual souls and the mysterious order of Nature.

WHAT?

What newborn child has ever needed to be saved?

Corruption, including lies, is something learned, via the divine gift of free will, making choices, which incur karmic consequences. Not something we are born with.

But remember, the link between cause and effect has been eroding, degenerating into “casual cheating;” the “guilt” that we used to feel for lying, and other “sins,” just about gone! Poof!

Guilt used to be the glue that held our society together. No longer. During Saturn’s transit through Pisces, let us begin to forge a deeper relationship with the divine; or, I should say, let us remember, re-member; let us put ourselves back together again: each a drop in the ocean of being, each an entire ocean within a single drop.

Likewise, even though I appreciate that Christianity itself, besides serving as a warm welcome matt for authentic human connection, and, when followed strictly, helps keep us squirrelly all-too-human folks in line . . . please, I beg of you, dear reader, notice that the natural empathy of humans is, meanwhile, literally hijacked: indoctrinated, usually in childhood, to feel guilty when gazing upon the figure of Jesus Christ upon the cross, “God the Father’s only begotten Son who loved us so much he “died for our sins . . .”

How can we ever repay him?

Even confessing our sins won’t take away the burden of deeply impregnated guilt.

Mea culpa mea culpa . . .

I refer here to Roman Catholics especially, the “faith” I am still recovering from, who “drink his blood and eat his flesh” during Holy Communion.

Okay, and please don’t hate me, despite the shock — of revulsion? recognition? —  that might accompany what I’m going to say next . . . in fact, I am reminded of the shock that attends revisioning the nuclear mushroom cloud of destruction as instead, an iconic symbol of intense human creativity . . . how about we revision Christ on the Cross by situating this powerful image within the much larger/longer historical context of human sacrifice — the black hole eating away at civilization for who knows how many millennia!

Let us begin all over again,

as if we are newly born.

Let us re-member to . . .

Let us love others

as we learn to love ourselves.

Let us open our hearts

to accept and express

the Infinite Holy Love

that fills and fuels the universe.

Love is the glue!

Love replaces guilt.

LOVE

  1. Re ARE YOU A VAMPIRE?

NO. The difference between Holy Communion and drinking human blood is utterly different. While I don’t consider myself (categorized) as a “Christian’, my understanding of the ‘drinking of Christ’s blood’ and ‘eating of his flesh’ is one of partaking and ‘assimilating Christ’s Light and Word (Teaching). Some believe this a mere symbolic practice, others a tangible alchemical blessing (exchange) of his Light.

    1. I realize that was a very provocative part of today’s post. And a part of me (the old Catholic part, as well as the part of me that loves, and strives to emulate, the Christlike virtues as much as anyone), is totally with your assessment. However, to me, this other way of seeing the situation is worth considering, given the more obviously sordid aspects of human history.

  2. Yes, thanks Ann, I agree with you. There is so much false teaching including doctrine and dogma that is tantamount to satanism in christianity – especially within the fundamentalist and literal Orthodox teachings and followers. I do think the more mystical interpretation and approach is superseding these deceptive & archaic beliefs perhaps, would you agree?

    1. Yes. As I’ve been swooning over mystics of whatever persuasion, forever! Hildegaard, for example, and I appreciate her because she was also a leader, in touch with the earth, and very practical! Meanwhile, I presume you are aware of the Audience Hall that the pope speaks in — with the weird satanic sculptural backdrop and the reptilian shaped ceiling? https://www.soulask.com/inside-the-popes-reptilian-audience-hall-in-vatican-city/ YUCK.

  3. Absolutely, the early Church Mystic saints have an eternal message of enlightenment and everyday practical teachings. Saint Terese of Avila is one Ive studied and cherished the most. Recall the movie ‘Brother Son, Sister Moon’ (1972, Donovan) – the story of St Francis – his inspired Path & journey to Rome to receive a blessing and audience with the Pope (Alec Guinness), and that incredibly touching moment when the Pope knelt humbly before Francis amidst the shock and scorn of the serpent/reptilian Bishops and Clergy.
