Pecking away . . .
Yesterday afternoon, at some point, in between removing the sling and putting it on again, I was walking across the living room when I noticed my body spontaneously beginning to do tai chi, moving and waving the wounded arm in concert with the other one. WHAT? Both shocked and eager, I allowed body, after only ten days, to subtly ignite the process of moving back into mind/body/soul/spirit harmony. YES!

BTW: I took one percocet when I left the hospital, two CBD gummies before sleep that first night, one of the prescribed hydrocodone-acetamin pills the next morning, and since then, nothing, nada! Would prefer to stay in touch with the pain, which is only present if I try do do something with that arm/hand that jars or otherwise stresses it. Pain is my teacher.
Meanwhile, I take a homeopathic for “bone trauma,” Symphytum offinale, every four hours.
Given my body’s welcome rebellion yesterday, I wonder if I can beat the odds, and be up to speed within four weeks total.
”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
