Is our dear Earth not a ball, but a flat surface, sitting serenely all by itself within a dome called “The Firmament,” the entire panoply enclosed within a layer of water?

The Real Conspiracy: Flat Earth Is A Psy-op
Okay, I don’t pretend to know whether what’s colloqually called FE is true or false. Nor do I pretend to understand how my life-long assumptions could be completely false!
But maybe that’s the case, and they are? I.e., all my desperate, idiotic attempts to comprehend reality are doomed to fail?
Well, of course!
It seems to me that the best approach to con-sideration of reality is to hold one’s assumptions, whatever they are, at arm’s length. This helps to release any fundamentalism that may try to sneak in. This way we learn to play with ideas, rather than being enslaved to them. I call this alt-epistemology.

Let’s assume, with Q, that Earth IS a ball, and that this ball is being visited by others.
