Another little critter attack . . .

See note at end of yesterday’s post:

I’m busy devouring more details to flesh in the stunning Mar-A-Lago FBI Raid, with ramifying implications and divergent interpretations. Devouring, that is, in between new rounds of epsom salt soaks (one every hour, for ten minutes), and homeopathic Apis Mellifica (also every hour), and ice packs in between. I didn’t “get to it in time,” because the area swelled up anyhow. Here it is today, with back of right hand swollen and reddened. Areas of swelling and redness also up the arm.

Plus notice thumb on right hand; two years ago the joint that allowed me to fold the thumb froze, so now it’s very difficult to do myriads of tiny tasks that require thumb/forefinger pinching. Oh, and: I HAD NO IDEA MY HANDS LOOK (I MEAN ARE) SO OLD1

Notes: This time it’s more difficult to do the epsom salt soaks, because, instead of a bucket that I could just plop my foot and ankle into,  I had to root around to find a suitable container, one which I can fold nearly my entire arm and hand into while sitting down. Joseph helped with that task, and brought me some benadryl.

Colin went to store right away for more epsom salts. (I used fifteen pounds of it during first siege.)

This time it’s more difficult to strap ice packs on as well, because affected area is more diffused, and it’s my right HAND, for god’s sakes! What I reach with into the world. However, it doesn’t disrupt typing, obviously!

This time I slept much better the first night than I did the last time, so I hope my body can deal with the situation more efficiently. Puppy Shadow and I even took a three mile walk today (had to get more Apis).

Son Colin (who has been very allergic to bees in the past, walked in this morning to tell me that he was washing his dog, and Kona ran off and stepped right into the same nest that got me yesterday. Colin has one bite. It’s red, but I got him Apis right away, and he’s taking with him some benadryl, just in case. He says he thinks he’ll be fine, since in other years, he would have been flat on his back almost immediately.

In any case, just so you know this “female warrior” is once again under siege!

Time to nap, with ice packs.

Oh wait: want to mention that the extremely disruptive Mars/Uranus/North Node in Taurus square 22° Saturn in Aquarius is still operating, and since my Moon sits at 23° Taurus, it’s directly affected. I’d sure rather be thanking the disruptive hornets than the disruptive FBI.

After nap, unless some other disruption occurs: will check out the astro chart for when Trump announced the Raid, 7:18 pm EDT.

  1. Hi Ann, I’m a longtime follower in California; I can’t even remember how I originally found you! Just popping in to let you know that vinegar neutralizes wasp stings and should prevent any swelling. I’ve tried it and it works! But you have to apply the vinegar as soon as you are stung. Here’s hoping you won’t need to try this remedy, but hope it helps in case you do.
