Sometimes, I admit, I want to scream. Or at least get yet another teeshirt that says what I’m thinking.

Because I’m in Bloomington, Indiana, academia-land, where signs for new administrative offices called “Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity” abound. I actually tried to explain to a young kind, caring friend who is caught up in the (let’s face it, socialist) trance, that equality and equity are not the same thing. That the distinction is important, because equity speaks of results, and equality speaks of opportunity. That demanding equality of results (equity) vitiates individual effort, with the aim to reduce everybody to a cluelesss minion to the point where then “the mommy/daddy state” will provide. Until it doesn’t . . .

I got this far without mentioning the Covid Con, which is still the biggest news around, consistently, continually, especially now as the adverse effects of the vax kick in, and more and more evidence is found that this first ever? global psy-op was not only remarkably successful, it was designed way in advance, with the aim to kill as many as possible.

Yes, either you remain childlike, in wonder and awe, or you absorb the lion and start to roar, even if only on your teeshirt around these parts.
