Started out on usual four-mile walk early this morning dressed in layers that I thought appropriate, given that the temperature was bound to rise and the sun already up. Though my body felt somewhat chilled, especially my chest, I figured it would warm up with fast walking.
Well, two blocks later I realized I was wrong. Still chilled; now I felt vulnerable, and had a hunch I needed to pay attention to that feeling. Plus, something was going on in my stomach. Cramps. What’s this about? I’m not used to this. (Except the same thing happened yesterday, when I ignored the cramps; and they finally dissolved during that walk.) This morning, since cramps happened on walk the second time, I couldn’t ignore it.
Came back home to dress warmer; started out again; did fine, though this time the cramps continued as they began to descend from the stomach.
Pause here, for an interesting “sign” from nature.
Yesterday evening, while walking in the same direction as this morning, and about where I had stopped this morning to turn around and go back, I was walking with a dear neighbor when my eyes suddenly locked, for one microsecond, into those of a large hawk, not six feet away, sitting on the lower branch of a small tree about at eye level.
Suddenly, the hawk flew away. My neighbor, startled, did not see the hawk until she heard it begin to fly.
Both of us were left stunned. Neither of us had ever been that close to a hawk before.
I just searched gemini ai for its version of relevant symbolism . . .

Okay. Time to get real. Not sure yet what hawk portends. Though I do have an idea. More later, if so.
I don’t think it has anything to do with the cramping, since a cup of stress-related tea when I got home cleared up that situation — which likely, had to do with one ingredient that I began to add to the usual early morning elixir yesterday.

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
