I found this long video featuring John Paul Rice during my insomniac hours last night, and was so riveted I couldn’t fall back to sleep until it was done. This filmmaker, and I would add, philosopher, is a new discovery for me — which is surprising, since he’s been speaking up about pedophilia in Hollywood for years. But can I bring up to conscious awareness what he spoke about last night this morning? NO. What I do remember is that I was surprised to find myself agreeing with his expanding perspective on every level; and as a result, felt supported and affirmed in the tentative conclusions I have reached in my own research. Perhaps I’ll listen again and take notes to share here; but frankly, I am pulled elsewhere, and even better would be for you to listen to it yourself.

In line with the idea that I am living in the present — for the future — I continue to be drawn during this time of year to the garden, to the ancient, perennial wisdom of our nourishing Earth Mother: to the soil, the soul, to our sacred common ground.

Oh, and BTW: For the past two days I have been in a mutually respectful dialogue with a number of people in the international Dances for Universal Peace facebook group, and very grateful and amazed that my attitude towards not being allowed to dance with the Midwest Dances for Universal Peace is being taken seriously.
