WELCOME TO ABSURDISTAN digs into recent history of election fraud

I took another look at the post I published yesterday, thinking I was very “loopy” when I wrote it . . . And yes, I was! Mea culpa.

Meanwhile, there was one source I tried, and failed, desperately and repeatedly, to remember. Then voila! This morning, a new substack via email from longtime investigative journalist Elizabeth Nickson. Her substack, Welcome to Absurdistan, may well be at the very top of my current list of sources.

Her magnificent new offering, a long long piece, I presume written in response to Trump’s speech, includes at least a dozen references to both pieces she’s written about election fraud since 2022, plus videos and reposts from others, including her heroes, for example, Scott Pressler, Tina Peters, Naomi Wolf, and Seth Kessler.

Thunder and Lightning in Election Fraud Land

Hope to pursue it later today.

This morning, I google searched “trump speech election fraud” basically, just trying to remember exactly when he gave it. Aha, only two evenings ago, on July 16! But that search led to an extraordinary number of videos and commentaries on how Trump was lying, or exaggerating, or didn’t know what he was talking about, etc. Of course to be expected from the mainstream “press,” which is, as he let us know in no uncertain terms early on, FAKE NEWS. In this assessment he was echoing very recently suddenly deceased independent investigative reporter Jon Rappoport’s nomorefakenews.com, which Rappoport put online in 2001!

I remember back in 2020, stunned by the election results. Totally stunned. No way that could be real. I remember posting this image several times, not so much furious as heartbroken, desolate.

The idea that senile idiot Biden could have actually won the presidential election just seemed impossible! In one swell swoop, whatever remained of belief in the so called American system of government, with free and fair elections every four years, plummeted to hell.

As the years trickled by, and Biden’s (or his clone’s or his doubles’) senile stupidity became more and more evident, his blank look mouthing and slurring words on the teleprompter, stumbling, forgetting how to leave the stage, being “handled”  — by whom? Likely Obama, I thought. Or, deeper: the technocratic machine that includes Obama as point man.

Or, I should say, Biden was a manchurian candidate (so obviously senile he didn’t even need to be MKUltra mind controlled), and I did wonder, given my tendency to multi-level conspiratorial thinking, if there might have been a larger purpose behind placing this all too obvious buffoon in the exalted office of the “President of the United States.”

Geez, I remember a time when, though Independent, having leaned Democratic my entire voting life, I was actually swayed by Obama, in 2008, his Hope and Change mantra; that nonsense didn’t last long, But the Biden nonsense? that was front and center obvious from the get go.

So it’s no wonder that those of us who were not TDSers, but instead, realized that if the Deep State (a term that has come into common parlance over the last what, decade or so?) hates him so virulently, he must be doing something right. That their rabid vitriol was a measure of his unflappable courage, and unbreakable determination to undue what has been done to us over who knows how many (s)election cycles?

Claims are easy to make–proof is more difficult it seems. I am looking for ANYONE claiming that there was fraud in the 2020 election to present proof. To date (6 years or more) I don’t see any proof.

What about receipts Trump said are now online?

”And you? My teacher looked up, his left eyebrow arched, pencil poised. 'I want to do a paper on the concept of time.’” I mumbled, timidly. 'Time?' He sniffed. “I wouldn’t touch the subject. Too difficult.” — AK, 1967
