Today puppy Shadow and I were out again just before dawn, and watched the unusually clear blue sky gradually light up with the coming sun, at the furthest southeast turning point of its annual swing between southeast and northeast (Summer Solstice).
As usual, when the sun actually began to peek over the horizon, tears flooded my eyes.
So grateful for this life, this beauty, this love.
