MEME STREAM as we burst into July, 2025

July 1, 2025

Who would have known that my concentration as a doctoral student in philosophy at Boston University, way back between 1966 and 1972, namely EPISTEMOLOGY, would become such a hot topic as the millennium turned? Especially by June 16, 2015, when Trump descended the escalator, and his very rude phrase “fake news” begin to enter the vernacular.

So that now, we hardly bat an eye.

The covid con especially, stirred up a storm of fakery, that metastisized . . .

So that now, these kinds of signs on lawns actually do exist. (Not that I’ve seen one in leftist Bloomington Indiana).

Notice the skepticism?

No, stronger: the cynicism?

So if Truth took a hard hit, so did other aspects of life that depend on us at least wanting to tell, and to hear, the truth.

Hidden fury, burning bright. For who knows what’s out there?

So, the person who sees patio umbrellas as possible terrorists, is projecting what’s inside to the outside. And, usually, not realizing it. Thinking that what he or she sees is “real.”

It helps, a great deal, to recognize that what’s outside is also inside.

And that the dynamic space between polarities (opposites) creates the conditions for continued growth.

Besides epistemological memes, I’ve collected a potpourri of others lately, which I will label, as a group: “If you know, you know.”

Finally, I’ll end with these two . . .

Actually, not true. I feel good, despite confronting the horrors daily over the internet.

Meanwhile, busy nurturing paradise here in Green Acres Village.

WHY I TRUST TRUMP — and where I choose to focus

June 30, 2025

Am I a fool? Perhaps.

I found myself thrilled to see his recent Supreme Court victories especially the one vitiating the ability of a district judge to set in motion a mandate for the entire country.

Clandestine also trusts him.

And yes, I also understand that Trump wages 5th generation “war,” which consists of competing narratives.

Burning Bright, however, may actually comprehend how Trump plays 5G war.

Excerpt:

For me, the most crucial consideration is that Trump, all along, has been focused on “no more killing,” “there’s too much killing,” etc. I’ve never heard of a leader of any nation who used this obvious, fundamental reason to be utterly against wars that kill human beings. Always, he seeks to encourage nation states to maintain their sovereignty while trading with one another.

I mean, DUH! Isn’t it obvious?

Here in my own neighborhood, I have a next door neighbor whom I could “hate,” but don’t. Instead we have found ways to cooperate that benefit us both.

I thank god for Trump’s willingness to sacrifice his own life for the general good. Thanks to his aware presence, despite the continuous, seemingly horrific danger of “nuclear war” — what I have been terrified of since I was 2 years old, listening to the radio re: Hiroshima: on the exopermaculture website archive there are 70 pages of posts that address this subject! — I choose to focus my attention on what we are creating. Here. Now. At home. Here’s the latest greenacresvillage.org/blogpost. Lots of pictures.

“To me, the most interesting question about human memory is why only certain events, rather than others, carry a charge. Where does the charge come from?” — AK, 1986, A Soul’s Journey
“At a party, many decades ago, a man whom I had just met burst out, in a tone of wonder: ‘You are the first continuously splitting schizophrenic I’ve ever met!’ I bowed low and responded, ‘Thank you!’”
